The Goloka Dhamis were delighted about the homecoming of Guru Maharaja and to fulfill their desire to see him, Guru Maharaj invited them shortly in his room for a brief greeting on his arrival. He spoke especially about the need of seriously taking shelter in Krishna. He told us how in his situation he remembered the incident of Gajendra, the elephant, who was attacked on the leg....

Split, Croatia, Part 2, 3/27/07
For the Sunday feast, Guru Maharaj gave a powerful lecture about a most fascinating journey. He opened the speech by telling us a wonderful story from Thailand about one big Golden deity of Buddha hidden under a thick layer of mud. It is exactly like us, Jivatma, as we are also pure "golden" entities, part of Krishna but covered by layers of material energy, our body.

Split, Croatia, Part 1, 3/18/07
After two weeks in Solta, Guru Maharaj decided to come to Split for the weekend. We crossed the sea on a ferry and after a short drive we reached Bhakta Ricardo´s flat. Guru Maharaj took Darshan of the deities who were placed on open furniture.

As I was driving Guru Maharaj to our house, he asked me to let him out half-way for his daily walk. He told me that although the nature is like paradise, it is nothing in comparison with Vrindavana where we can feel the amazing spiritual potency.

A few devotees arrived to prepare and decorate the rooms at the house where Guru Maharaj would spend the next few weeks. Gurudeva got a good opportunity to be driven in the private boat of a devotee who came to the house later in the evening. Guru Maharaj invited all the devotees (about ten of us) to come to visit the home and stay for a while.
